Accessibility

Flying should be easy for everyone, and that starts with our website. Whether you use a keyboard, a screen reader or magnification, you should be able to find your flight, read everything and reach us. Here is how far we have come and where we are still improving.

Where we stand

Our website partially conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Everything we build ourselves follows these guidelines from the start and is checked with every change, including automated tests. Some embedded third-party services do not fully meet them yet; you will find them below.

What you can rely on

  • Every feature works with the keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
  • Headings, regions and labels give screen readers a clear structure.
  • The website follows the text size set in your browser and can be enlarged to 200 % without losing anything, even on screens just 320 pixels wide.
  • Text and controls have enough contrast, also when you use forced colours or a contrast mode.
  • If you have reduced motion in your system settings, our pages hold back on animation too.

Where things still get stuck

The following limitations lie in third-party services that we embed. We cannot fix them ourselves, but we keep an eye on them:

  • Flight search: dates in the calendar cannot yet be chosen with the keyboard alone. The buttons for swapping the airports and for changing the number of travellers only respond to a mouse; you can type the number of travellers directly, though.
  • Contact form: the keyboard focus is only faintly visible in the input fields, and on very narrow screens (320 pixels) the right edge is slightly cut off.
  • Booking portal: bookings are made in our service provider's portal. We have not yet checked how accessible it is.

Stuck at one of these points? Call us or write to us, and we will help you personally.
